Angiosarcoma is a variety of cancer that emanates in the blood vessels’ & lymph vessels’ lining of a person’s body. This cancer impacts the skin of a person like a bruise-like lesion, which grows over time. This kind of cancer has an extremely poor survival rate, with a reported 5-year survival rate of nearly thirty-five percent of patients, who have non-metastatic angiosarcoma. In the majority of cases, recurrence occurs within twenty-four months of local treatment. Virgil Abloh tried a lot to beat the disease but ultimately death succumbed him.

The Instagram page of Abloh, on Sunday (28th November 2021), displayed a statement posted by his family in which his family confessed that Abloh was a fiercely committed father, son, friend, husband & brother.

After the death of the US-based designer, his family revealed that due to his diagnosis of angiosarcoma, he underwent numerous treatments, that are actually very challenging in nature. And, the most important thing is that he continued all of these treatments alongside continuing his fashion & art-related works.

Abloh was not only Louis Vuitton’s artistic director but also the CEO of Off-White, a Milan-based label & a fashion house (founded by him in 2012). Besides that, he was Donda’s Creative Director. But what is destined to happen always happens. So, is the early death of Virgil Abloh. All his family members are seriously traumatized by it & we are no less traumatized as well.
