Have you ever been a fan of the couple Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and their romantic relationship? Then, sad news for you! The candy and affectionate relationship between the two of which you dreamt of one day have today turned into a battleground. It is never going to fix, as we can see it. The reality is different from our dream world. Both Depp and Heard had accused each other of physical assault and claimed that they are not going to live together anymore.
Amber Heard, whom Johnny Depp married in 2017, recently testified that she had filed for a divorce from her husband, Depp, whom she termed as a monster because she worried for her life because of him. She openly told the jury that she has to quit him as she knew that she wouldn’t survive if she didn’t. She also confessed that she had tried hard to make their relationship work because she loved Johnny so much. But unfortunately, she could live no more with Johnny.
According to the statement of Heard, as soon as the star of the “Pirates of the Caribbean”, Depp, starts drinking, the monster side of him comes out. She had tried many times to curtail his habit of the intake of drugs and alcohol but failed. Now their relationship has turned so brutal that violence has become a normal thing in it.
As soon as Amber filed for divorce and detachment from Johnny, she sought a provisional restraining order. This happened after an argument with his Depp during which he hurled a mobile phone towards her that hit her face.
Depp, the 58 years old Hollywood star, denied this incident completely standing in the witness box. In fact, he said that he had not struck Heard even once in his life. On the contrary, he claimed that it was Heard herself who time and again became violent to him. He said that it was Heard who threw bottles of vodka targeting his hand and injured his finger in the process. He also claimed that she had even once relieved her stool upon her bed in anger. The star filed a suit against her wife over an op-ed, that she jotted down in Dec 2018 for The Washington Post.
Heard, the Aquaman starrer, in this op-ed, illustrated herself as a sad “public figure” suffering from domestic violence, without mentioning the name of Depp in it. However, Johnny sued her for implying him as a domestic abuser. He sought 50 million dollars from her for the damage to his reputation that she hurled upon him.
Heard, on the other hand, countersued him and asked for 100 million dollars. She claimed that he should give her this amount because of her suffering from rampant physical violence as well as abuse from his side. According to Heard, Depp had tortured him a lot and distrusted her many times after seeing various adult scenes on-screen by saying that she is a whore and she had made many affairs with other persons in her absence. All these hurt Amber a lot and now she is going to punish him by claiming 100 million dollars from him.
Depp undermines Amber by saying that she is doing all these things and trying to get divorced from him because of financial advantages. However, Amber proved it wrong by donating the entire lump sum amount, that she got from Depp after her divorce, to the two charity centers.
So, it’s really confusing to conclude who among them is telling the truth, right? But, whoever it may be, one thing seems final- the once beautiful couple is no longer going to live together again.
