Good news for Black Panther enthusiasts! Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the 3rd & final 2022 MCU movie is going to be released on 11th November 2022. Since the Marvel film will need plenty of time to get finished, many people were speculating that many things may happen within the occurrence of delays. They were utterly disappointed by these delays.
The pandemic had led to the postponement of 4 titles of the MCU phase by Marvel more than once. It also impacted the production of Wakanda Forever. Thus, delay worries are expected, especially if the film is as big as this movie, Black Panther 2.
The delay worry reasons include the huge success of the original story of the movie. This big success will create a lot of pressure upon Marvel not to disappoint the fans. So, to make this Black Panther sequel a big hit like the previous Black Panther movie, a lot of hard work, concentration, planning, shootings, reshooting & time are needed. This may result in further delay of the movie.
Besides, the death of Chadwick Boseman after a secret fight with Cancer is another reason. It would be a difficult task for Marvel to figure out, who will be the ensuing Black Panther as T’Challa’s plausible successor.
However, recently, an insider has claimed that Marvel has managed all these problems singlehandedly and is not going to delay this movie. It is expected to be ready within mid-November for its release. Also, there were rumors that the to-be-released movie Black Panther may get swapped for another movie, The Marvels. But, the insiders have also nullified this rumor by saying that there’s no chance of happening this.
The filming of Black Panther 2 started in July 2021 & it established a target for the movie’s release date in July 2022. For hitting this tight schedule, the post-production began simultaneously with the main shooting. Marvel’s aim behind it was to complete the special effects within July 2022. Still, then, Marvel halted the movie’s release until mid-November. Though there is a delay in its production, Marvel is still running on track for finishing this movie within the specified date.
Also, a source has lately informed that the post-production will be smooth. Besides, there were some visual effects errors in the 1st movie, which Marvel is trying to avoid in this movie. The source furthermore confirmed that an Avatar 2 crew is working on this project.
Wakanda Forever’s special effects must get finished within September, a month before the premiere date of Black Panther 2. A report says that Wakanda Forever’s new wrap date is slated for March 2022. The film’s production should come to an end in Puerto Rico & according to Cosmic Circus, Marvel is respecting this film’s schedule. So, Marvel is getting 8 months for the movie’s post-production and reshoots.
