The price anticipated in India is around Rs. 1.40 crore. E-Tron is featured with two electric motors which will drive all the four wheels. The electric motors can produce a total power output of 360PS and e-Tron can run at a cheetah’s speed from 0-100kmph in just 6.6 seconds. Audi E-Tron is also featured with a power boost mode where the power jumps to 480 Kmph and the time for 0-100 Kmph reduces to 0.9 second.  There is a 95KWH battery pack that can cover a 400Km range. India’s first all-electric micro-SUV, Mahindra showcased eKUV100 at Auto Expo 2020. Mahindra eKUV100 may arrive in India this year on December 10 with an expected price tag of Rs8.25 lakhs. Powered by 40kw electric motor, Mahindra eKUV100 is tuned to produce 53bps and 120Nm torque. The 15.9kW lithium-ion battery pack, claims to return a range of 140km on one charge. The battery can be juiced from 0-80 percent in one hour.

Volvo XC40 Recharge is featured with a 78kWh battery pack equipped with dual electric motors. The two electric motors together produce 402 bhp and 660 Nm torque. This can range up to 418km. Volvo provides two charging options in the electric version.  The 11 KW AC charger charges from 1-100 percent in 8-10 hours. And the 150KW DC fast charger juices up the battery from 0-100 percent in only 40 minutes.

Tesla model S is believed to be the rival of the luxury electric vehicle. The brand has priced the EQS model Rs 2.00-2.05 crore. Mercedes offers two variants. The EQS 450+ and the EQS 580 4MATIC variant. The EQS 450+ variant is powered by a 107.8kWh battery pack that can produce 328bhp and 568Nm of torque. While, EQS 580 4MATIC is capable of producing 516bhp and 855Nm of torque. Using a 110kw DC fast charger the battery can be juiced to 80 percent from zero in only 35 minutes. The fully charged model offers a range of 770kms.
